the albums that never get old

 hi friends!

i was trying to think of some of my favorite albums of all time, and shockingly, this was both very easy and nearly impossible.

easy because there are a handful of albums that immediately come to mind. albums i've listened to hundreds of times, know front to back, and somehow still want to put on again.

impossible because five spots is simply disrespectful to me and my extensive listening history.

but if we're talking about the albums i've genuinely loved the most and played the absolute shit out of over the years, these are some of them:

wildlife will probably always be my favorite album of all time. somewhere at the bottom obviously had to be here too because la dispute has had a grip on me for most of my life (been a fan since 2010 😅)!

bloom makes me want to get in the car and drive somewhere pretty; innerbloom is one of my favorite songs of all time. iridescence immediately transports me back to a very specific era of my life. and sade is sade. i don't think i need to explain myself there.

i already want to make another one of these because five is NOT ENOUGH!!!!!
