i have a confession to make: i think about thrifting an unreasonable amount.
there are very few feelings better than walking into a thrift store with absolutely no idea what you're going to find. is today the day i find the vintage lotus lamp of my dreams? perhaps a knick knack that immediately becomes one of my most prized possessions? or maybe the $200 thing i've had on a wishlist sitting on a shelf for $6.99???
probably not.
but MAYBE. and that's what keeps me coming back!!! so let's chat about some of my thrift wishlist items.
i've been especially obsessed with finding things for my house lately. i want trinkets! weird shelves for said trinkets! floral things! kitschy holiday decorations! clothes have become more fun to hunt for too because i'm slowly figuring out my personal style, which lately involves an overwhelming amount of polka dots.
and then, of course, there is the ~lenox spice village~
my white whale.
i have never once seen a spice village anything but this will not stop me.
that's kind of what makes having a thrift wishlist so fun, though. there's no guarantee i'm going to find any of it. i could go five times and come home empty handed, and then one random tuesday the thrift gods could decide i've suffered enough and put the most perfect thing i've ever seen directly in my path.
until then, i'll be wandering the aisles.
